  I've been going here since I was a little kid. This office is the best in Charleston. They are very VERY gentle and nice. I had to get a root canal that ended up being very painful. It was a two part process. Dr Kirkland's assistant talked to me to calm me down and also held my hand through the pain and me crying to help me get through it. After the first half was done I was in so much pain. They gave me a prescription for pain and I put off getting the second part done because I was so scared to get it finished due to it being so painful. They wouldn't let me slip through the cracks. They cared enough to call me and keep checking on me so I could get it finished because if I didn't​ I would've had to get an extraction . Most dentists wouldn't have cared enough to follow up but Dr Kirkland did. When I came back to get it finished he was so gentle and reassured me he would go slow to make it easier for me. His assistant held my hand again and everything turned out well. I am so thankful for them caring because if they didn't I would've been out of a tooth!!!! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a dentist that genuinely cares about you and meets all of your needs. I absolutely love them and I guarantee you will too !!!
